A trip to Lundy Island
The beautiful island of Lundy lies a few miles from Ilfracombe and is a popular destination for visitors to North Devon.  On the island you'll find no less than three lighthouses, and Britain's only statutory marine reserve.  The MS Oldenberg sails regularly from Ilfracombe harbour.

Chill out on the beach
5 minutes walk from Westwood is Ilfracombe's award winning beach and must see tourist attraction the tunnelsbeaches.  On arriving you'll discover a network of hand carved tunnels which lead to unique sheltered beaches and a tidal victorian bathing pool.  Whilst relaxing you can enjoy freshly prepared snacks, a speciality coffee or a refreshing beer at the café blue.
